Thanks. I liked him when I was young and he was on PBS. However, when I look at his art now, they're just meh. However, the style is the same I suppose because of the techniques he used to rapidly create art. It's interesting because I hadn't considered it, but he talked about happy accidents back then too.
I agree, I kind of grew out of Bob Ross, I still watch it if I happen to see that it's on television, and I still enjoy watching his process - more so now I know why he had the magic and I didn't when I was younger.
I know he's shaped how I approach art in a big way, even if I'm not really a fan of his works like I used to be.
I love happy little accidents in painting, that's where magic happens I think.
