My first matte painting! This reminded me of when I was a kid, I use to look really, really close at things and imagine a world within it. I really enjoyed painting this. It's not my usual style since I usually paint everything from scratch and rarely use textures. With this one, I used some textures from my own library and the base stock from [link]

Thanks Burtn!

This is really, really great. My only concern is the size of the waterfalls: they are so huge I have difficulties to believe they only feed the shallow stream at the foreground. Plus, they should drizzle more. Having said that, you have reached your goal of offering us a coherent world within an image.

OMG, great observation. I hadn't considered if it worked on that level, only that it looked right ascetically. The river should allow for much more water flow through there. Not sure what you mean by drizzle more.

Thanks for the feedback and pointing that out. Gave you a llama and this: :jarksaber: because you're obviously a star wars fan :)
