this is phenominal!
there's so much detail i can practically smell the grass and feel the soft morning light. its a gorgeous piece with excellent composition and an eye pleasing color palatte. the shading on this work of art is delightfully muted so as not to destroy the gentle colors of the grass and the beautiful reddish glow of the dragons wings.
the dragons features are noteworthy themselves. the dragons expression seems almost pondering, as if its wondering what lies ahead that day.
i wanted to say excellent work on this fantasy piece, something i rarely ever say. this made my day.

This is a marvelous piece of work. The anatomy of the dragon is fantastic (though it is a bit hard for me to see two of its feet due to the shadowing, but I'm sure they are wonderful). The scenery work is very good. The trees look very real and aren't too uniform, which I think takes a special touch. One thing that I'm not too keen on is that the grass to the right looks muddled, but I understand if this can't be helped to due paint, but I love the reeds in the front. The colouring in the sky is just right. The perfect combinations of the light pink, and the orange of the rising (or setting) sun, and the reflection in the water in the foreground is just superb. I like the slight haze in the background (which makes me think it's dawn). It gives the clearing a secluded and quiet, peaceful, and overall serene appearance. When I looked at this, it's like my body just sighed and relaxed, my eyes drinking in your work. Very, very good.
