Hi! This is a wonderful job! Good work1 Im curious to know how you started out on this? I heard most people start out in grey scale but i know some just throw color in there and go from there. I have trouble getting a good stance when it comes to starting a painting. From what I can guesstimate, it looks like you used just the default hard edge round brush? Idk about the smaller pebbles and stuff i would imagine that taking a good while. lol. Anyways. Just picking your brain to see if you had any hints or tips for a beginner. Thanks!
I've been switching back and fourth between the source and your image a couple of times, and I notice that apart from expanding the lens size a bit, you've also lowered the ground, and when comparing the height of the person with the light posts he looks pretty tall. Just in my opinion.
I think I agree with you. Thanks for the feedback, really. It's possible the horizon got lowered. I only really use the colors that's there to start the image. In fact, I try not to be influenced by the image underneath it.
