WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT 'NOT SATISFIED" ????¬_______¬ Bro (no disrespect to the comments below) but all you gotta do is (SUPER EASILY) bring out the occlusion shadows and you're done! don't need to scale the image down, and this is just as good as your scapes. the values are there(almost just the occlusion shadow left out), composition, proportion... dude man! lol just..dude!
occlusion shadow is just areas of contact basically lowering the value to around N2-3 (almost black) I'm inspired now, NGHHHHHH
I was disappointed with this one because the sketch came out much nicer than the finished product which ALWAYS seems the case when I do characters. I'll try the occlusion shadow next time. Thanks!
Scaling him down and drawing the scene around him could help, just because every pixel means so much more then. It might also help you to fine-tune the shading.
Thanks, I might have another go at him. If I do, I'll definitely do what you're suggesting because now that I'm looking at him, I see what you're saying. Thanks for pointing it out.
